Abstract: |
In this paper, the processability, vulcanization characteristics and mechanical properties of domestic Butadiene-isoprene rubber(BIR) were studied, comparing with those of butadiene rubber( BR). And the differences of processing and application performance for the tread compound between BIR and BR were discussed. The results showed that, BIR possessed faster vulcanization rate, lower Mooney viscosity and better processability; BIR vulcanizate got the higher tear strength, lower compression temperature rising and better fatigue resistance. Tread compound with NR/SBR/BIR blending system had faster vulcanization rate, better processability; and the performances of tear strength, fatigue resistance and wet-skid |
