A new type of automatic centering device for sidewall of radial tire building machine was designed.It mainly consisted of linear actuator stepper motor,line light sensor and centering roller.Through Proportional-Integral-Derivative(PID)control of Programmable Logic Controller(PLC),the device could reduce the deviation of the sidewall in the feeding process,ensure the position accuracy of sidewall for pre-assembly,and improve the uniformity and dynamic balance of the tire. |
