Abstract:
The effect of acrylonitrile content of nitrile rubber(NBR) on the properties of NBR/polyvinyl chloride(PVC) foamed materials was investigated. The results showed that at the same accelerator amount used, the vulcanization and foaming compatibility of NBR/PVC compounds with different acrylonitrile contents in NBR and the physical properties of the foaming materials varied greatly. By adjusting the amount of the accelerator, the vulcanization and foaming compatibility of NBR/PVC compounds were improved to prepare foaming materials with low apparent density, low vacuum water absorption, low thermal conductivity and good compression resilience.
