Abstract:
      he synergistic flame retardant effect of carbon black/magnesium hydroxide,red phosphorus/magnesium hydroxide and zinc borate/magnesium hydroxide in silicone rubber was investigated.The results showed that,compared to magnesium hydroxide alone,carbon black/magnesium hydroxide had significant synergistic flame retardant effect,showing increased oxygen index.The synergistic effect of carbon black/magnesium hydroxide was better than that of red phosphorus/magnesium hydroxide and zinc borate/magnesium hydroxide.It was found that the ratio of burning carbonization and quality retention of magnesium hydroxide flame retardant silicone rubber were improved due to the addition of carbon black.
