| The formulation of BIIR facepiece compound for gas mask was optimized by using uniform design method.The optimized formulation was as follows:BIIR 100，zinc oxide 3，stearic acid 1，carbon black N330 40，carbon black N220 15，vaseline 1，paraffin oil 2，plasticizer DOP 2，plasticizer DOS 2，coupling agent KH-550 0.5，antioxidant 264 1，accelerator TMTD 1，accelerator DM 0.6.The properties met the requirements of facepiece compound for gas mask. |
