Abstract:
      Gadolinium oxide nanoparticles(nano-Gd2O3) were prepared by calcining the precursor from coprecipitation and spray drying method,and the morphological structure and shielding property of nano-Gd2O3/NBR composites were studied.The results showed that,the cubic Gd2O3 particles with the size about 100 nm were obtained;the size of Gd2O3 particles in the Gd2O3/NBR composite was almost from 100 nm to 500 nm;and the shielding property of the composite increased to the peak value as the testing tube voltage was 110 kV.
