Abstract: |
The 3rd,4th and 5th order hyperelastic Ogden models were used to analyze the vertical stiffness and strength of conical spring respectively, based on the hyperelastic theory and rubber experimental data.Comparison of the stiffness curves of simulation and test showed that, the fitted stiffness curves of the 3rd and 5th order Ogden models accorded with the test data in a certain range of load, and there was high deviation in other range of load. The fitted stiffness curve of the 4th order Ogden model agreed very well with the test data within the entire range of load. The stiffness curves behaved weakly non-linear.The effect of Ogden model parameters on the strength analysis was lower, but the relative trend of the effect on stiffness and strength analysis was consistent. |
