| Abstract: |
| A EPDM sponge was prepared by one-step molding process，and the influence of the type and addition level of blowing agent on the properties of sponge were investigated.The results showed that for preparing EPDM sponge，the optimal addition levels of blowing agents AC，OBSH or H were 5，5 and 3 phr respectively；when the addition level of blowing agent was 5 phr，an EPDM sponge with the highest blowing rate was obtained by using blowing agent H；when the EPDM sponges were prepared with AC/OBSH，AC/H or OBSH/H blowing agent blends respectively，their optimal addition levels were 5，4 and 2 phr；and when the addition level of blowing agent blend was 5 phr，an EPDM sponge with the highest blowing rate was obtained by using AC/OBSH blowing agent blend.It was found by SEM that an EPDM sponge with even dispersive micro-cells was obtained by using AC/OBSH blowing agent blend. |
