Abstract:
      The 2D finite element simulation for the converging flow of NR/carbon black mix at planar entrance was made by ANSYS software.The influence of the initial speed(v0) on the speed distribution in runner,the extension rate,the shear rate and the natural coverging angle of fluid was investigated.The results showed that the natural converging half angle of fluid reduced and the shear rate increased non-linearly with the increase of v0;and the highest extension rate was obtained at the entrance.
