Abstract: |
The effect of various organotin stabilizers on the thermal degradation via dehydrochlorination of CPE was investigated by Congo Red Method. The results showed that the dibutyl tin bis(2-mercaptobenzothiazole) stabilizers T-137 and T-395A were better than dibutyl tin dilaurate in terms of inhibiting the dehydrochlorination of CPE;the better stabilizing effect was also obtained by using 1 phr of dibutyl tin dilaurate combined with 5 phr of epoxidized soybean oil;and the dibutyl tin dilaurate/dibasic lead phosphite or barium stearate blend systems were better than dibutyl tin dilaurate when their addition levels were more than 3 phr respectively. |
