Abstract: |
The FEM software ANSYS was employed to analyse and simulate the flow velocity in Lshape sheet extruder die based on a three dimensional model.The velocity distribution profiles in four different parts of the die along extruding direction and the velocity distribution curves at the nods in the middle layers of seven cross-sections were taken to analyse the fluid flow in the die.It was found that the lateral velocity distribution of the fluid flow in the die gradually became uniform after several velocity adjustments. |
