Abstract: |
In this study, the lightweight research on the rear inflation device frame of the off-the-road
tire(here in after referred to as theframe) was carried out using the finite element analysis software ANSYS
Workbench. The results showed that there was a large surplus in the structural strength and stiffness of the
frame under full load conditions. The accuracy of the finite element model of the frame was verified by
experiments, and then the shape and size of the frame were optimized based on the finite element model. As
a result, the overall weight of the frame was reduced by 30. 57% on the premise of meeting the requirements
of strength and stiffness. In addition, the stress distribution of the frame was improved by the frame structure
improvement. The lightweight design and structure improvement methods had certain reference value for the
structure optimization of related mechanical equipment. |
