| Abstract: |
| The progress of the innovative applications of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) in the rubber materials was overiewed.The application examples of MOFs in the rubber materials were highlighted,included reinforcing rubber materials,regulating vulcanization processes of the rubber materials,enhancing flame retardancy and thermal-oxidative aging resistance of the rubber materials.The mechanisms of interface interactions between MOFs and rubber matrices were summarized,along with the influence of MOFs on the vulcanization reactions kinetics of the rubber materials.The challenges in introducing MOFs into the rubber materials were analyzed,and the issues such as the stability,dispersibility,production cost,preparaiton and application of MOFs should be addressed as soon as possible.Future development of directions of MOFs were discussed.The article aims to provide theoretical guidance for design and green development of high-performance rubber materials,and offers insight for the practical application of MOFs in the rubber industry. |
