Abstract: |
The influence of different structural carbon black on the properties of natural rubber(NR) compounds for commercial vehicle damping products was studied. The results showed that as the structural degree of carbon black increased, the t10 and t90 of NR compound were shortened, the crosslink density, hardness, tensile stress at 100% elongation, tensile strength, tear strength, storage modulus and elastic modulus increased, the elongation at break and loss factor decreased, the glass transition temperature shifted towards lower temperatures, and the static stiffness and dynamic/static stiffness ratio of the damping product increased. The Payne effect of NR compound filled with low structural carbon black was weaker, the temperature rise in compression fatigue test was lower, but compression set was higher. |
