| Abstract: |
| The influence of antioxidant types on the seawater aging resistance of chloroprene rubber(CR) compounds and its aging mechanism were studied. The results showed that during deep-sea environment immersion(deep-sea aging) process, the antioxidant of CR compound migrated and precipitated ,leading to a rapid decline in the aging resistance of CR compound. The antioxidant in CR compound was essentially eliminated after aging in deep-sea for 3 a.Compared to CR compound prepared with amine antioxidant 4020,the Shore A hardness, tensile strength and elongation at break of CR compound prepared with high molecular weight antioxidants TNPP/TH-1790 blend or high molecular weight antioxidants(TNPP and TH-1790)/reactive antioxidant BZ20 blend increased. The physical properties of CR compound prepared with high molecular weight antioxidants(TNPP and TH-1790)/ reactive antioxidant BZ20 blend were optimal, and the seawater aging resistance was the best. |
