| Abstract: |
| Aiming at the lateral characteristics of commercial vehicle tires under high-speed road conditions, the effects of different factors on the lateral stiffnesses, aligning stiffnesses, lateral angles and wear of commercial vehicle tires were studied by using virtual sample delivery technology. The results showed that the lateral stiffness, aligning stiffness and lateral angle of the tire increased with the increase of load. With the increase of inflation pressure, the lateral stiffness and aligning stiffness of the tire decreased, and the lateral angle increased. The speed had little effect on the lateral stiffness, aligning stiffness and lateral angle of the tire, which could be almost ignored. With the increase of load and inflation pressure, the lateral wear ratio of the tire increased, while the influence of load on lateral wear ratio was greater. |
