Abstract:
During the wet mixing processes of compounds, the uniformities of mixing between the filler particles and the latex under high-speed stirring by stirring impellers (semi-folded blade impeller,Rushton blades impeller and down-push 45° six-blade impeller)were simulated and analyzed. The results showed that, under the stirring impeller speed of 1 200 r·min-1,using the emi-folded blade impeller and a distance of 10 cm between the emi-folded blade impeller center and the agitator bottom, the distribution of the filler particles in the flow field was the best.As the semi-folded blade impeller speed increased, the mixing uniformity of filler particles and latex gradually was improved. At the semi-folded blade impeller speed of 1 200 r·min-1,the standard deviation of the filler particle volume fraction was 0.15,indicating that the filler particles reached a uniformly suspended state in the latex. As the semi-folded blade impeller speed increased, the Δ G′ of the compound prepared by the latex gradually decreased, and the dispersion uniformity of filler particles in the rubber matrix progressively improved. When the semi-folded blade impeller speed exceeded 1 200 r·min-1,the Δ G′ variation of the compound was minimal
