Abstract:
      With a fixed sulfur/accelerator ratio,the influence of cross-linking densities of tire sidewall compounds on the migration amounts of protective wax,ozone aging resistance and flexural fatigue resistance was studied by adjusting the vulcanization system dosages(1.25,2.5 and 5 phr).The results showed that as the cross-linking density increased,the migration amount and rate of protective wax increased,while the ozone aging resistance and flexural fatigue resistance of the vulcanizate improved.However,when the cross-linking density was excessively large,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the vulcanizate decreased.When the vulcanization system dosage was 2.5 phr,the vulcanizate exhibited excellent mechanical properties,ozone aging resistance and flexural fatigue resistance.
