Abstract:
      In response to the failure of the traction rubber bushing used for rail vehicle(referred to as traction rubber bushing),the characteristics of the load condition and the shortcomings of the initial structure were analyzed,and the structural optimization of the traction rubber bushing was carried out.The results indicated that the Ogden 4th order hyperelastic constitutive model had high analysis accuracy in simulating large deformations of the rubber materials in the traction rubber bushing.The structure of the traction rubber bushing could be optimized by setting a reasonable radial pre-compression shrinkage,reasonably increasing rubber layer thickness,and using streamlined rubber profile,and the stress and strain of the rubber part of the traction rubber bushing could be effectively reduced,thereby the fatigue life of the traction rubber bushing was extended.This study could provide reference for the design of large deformation rubber bushing.
