Abstract: |
The effect of the hardnesses on wear behavior of the tread compounds was studied by utilizing the relationship between carbon black 330 amounts and vulcanizates hardnesses. The results showed that, under the load≤30 N,the wear volume of the vulcanizate increased with the increase of hardness, and under the load≥50 N,the wear volume of the vulcanizate decreased with the increase of hardness. The transition point of the wear resistance of the vulcanizate was basically consistent with the transition point of frictional energy, and the wear amount of the vulcanizate under rolling and sliding condition could be expressed equivalentiy by the frictional energy. |
