Abstract: |
The research progress on high temperature resistant nitrile rubber(NBR) compounds for sealing components of oil and gas field drilling tools was reviewed,including direct modification of NBR,blending modification of NBR with other rubber or plastics,adding functional additives,and adopting new processes and materials.The direct modification of NBR and blending modification of NBR with other rubbers or plastics could increase the heat resistance temperatures of the compounds by 10~100 ℃,among them,the heat resistance temperature of NBR compound modified by blending with polyimide had the highest increase.The functional additives could increase the heat resistance temperatures of NBR compounds by 10~35 ℃,among them,the heat resistance temperature of NBR compound adding graphene had the highest increase.The use of new processes and materials could improve the heat resistance of NBR compound and extend the service life at high temperature. |
