Abstract: |
Using silicone rubber as the base material and porous diatomite as the filler, the porous silicone sealant for building curtain wall sealing was prepared and its thermal insulation performance was studied. The results showed that increasing the dosage of porous diatomite and prolonging the curing time to a certain extent could increase the apparent density of the porous silicone sealant. When the dosage of porous diatomite was 15 phr and the curing time was 14 d,the apparent density of the porous silicone sealant was larger, and the pore structure was adjusted to a relatively optimal state, thereby improving the thermal insulation performance.Excessive prolonging the curing time, using a water and light test chamber curing method, and increasing the moisture content could increase the thermal conductivity of the porous silicone sealant and reduce the thermal insulation performance. When normally cured for 1~10 days, the thermal conductivity of the porous silicone sealant was lower, and an ideal thermal insulation effect was obtained. |
