Abstract:
      The prediction of the fatigue life of silicone rubber at high temperature was studied.The results showed that the goodness of fit of the fatigue life prediction model for silicone rubber established with engineering strain peak as the damage parameters was above 0.99,indicating that the the model was effective.When the engineering strain peak was less than 0.7,as it increased,the fatigue life of silicone rubber presented a decreasing trend.When the engineering strain peak was greater than 0.7,as it increased,the fatigue life change of silicone rubber tended to be gentle.Under the same engineering strain peak(0.6),as the increase of the temperature,the fatigue life of silicone rubber gradually was shorted,indicating that high-temperature(90~130 ℃) softening had little effect on the fatigue life of silicone rubber.The error between the measured fatigue life and the predicted fatigue life of silicone rubber did not exceed 57%,indicating that the fatigue life prediction model had a certain degree of accuracy.
