Abstract:
      The application of pyrolytic carbon black (CBp) in the carcass compound of the tire was studied.The results showed that,when CBpNM360 partially replaced carbon black N660 in equal amount,the Mooney viscosity of the compound was the minimum and the Mooney scorch time t5 was the longest,which demonstrated processing performance of the compound was excellent,and the dispersion of carbon black within the rubber matrix was good,the vulcanizate exhibited the maximum tanδat low temperature area and the minimun tanδ at 60 °C.CBpNM360 was suitable for winter tire,and the rolling resistance of all-season tire with it was smaller.When CBpEN660 partially replaced carbon black N660 in equal amount,the H-pull-out force of the vulcanizate was larger and the number of the flex cracking was more.When CBpJ440/carbon black N660 amount ratio was 12.5/37.5,the tanδ at 0 °C of the vulcanizate was the largest,the wet skid resistance was best.
