Abstract: |
High performance hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) was prepared by swelling nitrile rubber(NBR) latex with supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) and then hydrogenation,and its properties were studied.The results showed that the particle size of NBR latex could be increased by about 20% when the NBR latex was swelled in scCO2 medium,and the degree of hydrogenation of HNBR could reach 99% within 6 h under the new ruthenium based catalyst with 0.02% mass fraction.The gel content of HNBR prepared by scCO2 swelling hydrogenation was low,which was equivalent to the mainstream imported HNBR.ScCO2 swelling hydrogenated NBR had high selectivity,and the vulcanization characteristics,physical properties,hot aging resistance and oil resistance of the HNBR compound was comparable to mainstream imported HNBR compounds,and its elasticity and oil resistance was slightly better. |
