Abstract:
      Based on Ansys software,the influence of the structure parameters (the boss width,step height,boss height and outside diameter) of the T-ring (composed of rubber T-ring and retaining rings) on its sealing performance (the radial force,contact width and contact pressure with the shaft) was analyzed using finite element analysis.The results showed that,in the assembly state,the boss height was critical structure parameter affecting the sealing performance of the T-ring.In the pressurized state,both the boss width and boss height were critical structure parameters affecting the sealing performance of the T-ring.
