Abstract: |
The effect of of cracked carbon black(CBp)/ carbon black N330 blending on the properties of natural rubber(NR) compound were investigated. The results showed that the specific surface area of carbon black N330 was larger than that of CBp,the ash content was significantly lower than that of CBp,and there was not much difference in the types and contents of carbon functional groups between CBp and carbon black N330.The surface roughness of the vulcanizate with single filler was smaller than that of the vulcanizate with blending fillers, and the surface roughness of the vulcanizate with 50 phr of carbon black N330 was larger than that of the vulcanizate with 50 phr of CBp.As the CBp/carbon black N330 blending ratio increased, bound rubber content of the compound decreased, the storage modulus decreased significantly under small strain, and the crosslinking density,Shore A hardness, tensile stress at given elongation and tear strength of the vulcanizates decreased, while the elongation at break and rebound value increased, the tensile strength changed little, but the wear resistance deteriorated. |
