Abstract: |
The sisal cellulose microcrystalline(SCF) was extracted using sisal cellulose as raw material,the stearic acid modified sisal cellulose microcrystalline (SA-g-SCF)was prepared using stearic acid(SA) as modifier,and the effect of the SA-g-SCF dosage on the properties of the natural rubber(NR)/SA-g-SCF composites was studied.The results showed that,with the increase of the SA-g-SCF dosage,the Fmax-FL of the NR/SA-g-SCF composite increased,and the t90 showed an extended trend.Compared with the NR compound without SA-g-SCF,the t90 of NR/SA-g-SCF composite with 5 phr SA-g-SCF was basiclly unchanged,but the vulcanization rate index increased.With the increase of the SA-g-SCF dosage,the Shore A-type hardness,modulus at 100% elongation and modulus at 300% elongation of the NR/SA-g-SCF composite increased and the tensile strength first increased and then decreased.NR/SA-g-SCF composite with 5 phr SA-g-SCF showed no obvious aggregates on the cross-section and had the highest tensile strength(25.4 MPa),with the best overall performance. |
