Abstract: |
A mechanical blending method was used to prepare the blend of nitrile -butadiene rubber(NBR) with medium to high acrylonitrile content and low polymerization degree polyvinyl chloride(PVC),and the effects of NBR/PVC blending ratio and plasticizer DOTP dosage on the properties of NBR/PVC blend were studied. The results showed that, the t90 of NBR/PVC blend was significantly prolonged compared with NBR compound. With the increase of PVC dosage, the t10 of NBR/PVC blend was prolonged, the crosslinking density decreased, tensile stress at a given elongation increased, tensile strength and elongation at break first increased and then decreased, the loss peak moved toward to high temperature direction, the glass transition temperature increased, and the damping performance at room temperature was significantly improved. The homogeneous systems could be obtained by blending NBR with low polymerization degree PVC at different blending ratios. With the increase of plasticizer DOTP dosage, the t10 and t90 of NBR/PVC blend had an extended trend, the crosslinking density, physical properties and damping performance decreased. |
