Abstract: |
Taking the passenger car radial tire(refer to as the tire) as the research object,a tire-drum finite element model was constructed, and the transient impact characteristic of the tire was simulated and studied using the implicit-explicit simulation analysis method. The results showed that when the tire speed changed from the lower to the higher, there was a phenomenon of transition from complete envelopment to incomplete envelopment of the cleat. As the tire speed increased, the trend of the maximum amplitude change of the radial forces of the tire was increasing-decreasing-increasing-decreasing,while the trend of the maximum amplitude change of the circumferential forces of the tire was opposite.Radial force attenuation characteristic was inherent properties of the tire, and it did not vary with changes of tire speed. At lower speeds, the load was smaller, the impact comfort of the tire was better. At moderate speeds,an appropriate amount of load could ensure the best impact comfort of the tire.At higher speeds, the load was greater, the impact comfort of the tire was better. |
