Abstract:
Using silane couple agent to graft modified silica and coal fly ash separatly, the effect of silica/coal fly ash blend ratios on the properties of natural rubber(NR)/silica/coal fly ash composites was studied. The results showed that,as the increasing of coal fly ash amount, the Payne effect of NR composite was significantly weakened, this was because coal fly ash promoted the dispersion of filler(silica/coal fly ash system) in rubber matrix. As the increasing of coal fly ash amount, the tensile strength and elongation at break of NR composite first increased and then decreased. When the silica/coal fly ash blend ratio was 30/10,the tensile strength of NR composite was the highest, and the elongation at break retention rate after 80 ℃×72 h heat air aging was larger. As the increasing of coal fly ash amount, the loss factors at 0 and 60 ℃ of NR composite decreased, and the wet sliding resistance and rolling resistance decreased.
