Abstract: |
Based on mechanical model and force analysis and fatigue failure criteria of the rubber components,the influence of the rubber component fatigue failure on the jump up and down stroke of the suspension system of vehicle was obtained.The Digital Mock-Up(DMU) model for the front independent suspension system of a certain vehicle was established,and the tire envelope was generated through simulation,then the clearance check between tire envelope and surrounding was conducted.Fatigue test of the rubber component of front suspension system was carried out,and the displacement increase value of the rubber components and the increase value of the jump up and down stroke of the suspension system after fatigue failure were obtained by calculating the loss rate of static stiffness.Analyzing the influence of the rubber component fatigue failure on suspension motion and tire envelope provided guidance for tire selection in the early design of vehicle,so that it could optimize the vehicle shape,shorten the vehicle development cycle and reduce the R&D cost. |
