Abstract: |
The vulcanization characteristics, physical properties and electrical conductivity of carbon black/ethylene-propylene-diene rubber(EPDM) composites were studied by using the filler of carbon black N330,carbon black HM3810 and conductive carbon black DENKA BLACK.The results showed that the FL and Fmax -FL of the compound filled with conductive carbon black DENKA BLACK were the largest, and the t90 was the shortest. The FL and Mooney viscosity [ML(1+4)100 °C] of the compound filled with conductive carbon black HM3810 were the smallest, and thet10 was longest. When the amount of carbon black was the same, the mechanical properties of the vulcanizate filled with carbon black HM3810 were the best, and the electrical conductivity of the vulcanizate filled with conductive carbon black DENKA BLACK was the best. With the increase of the amount of conductive carbon black DENKA BLACK,the mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of the vulcanizate were improved. When the amount of conductive carbon black DENKA BLACK was 60 phr,the mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of the vulcanizate were the best |
