Abstract: |
A three-dimensional finite element model of tire-pavement contact was established for
11. 00R20 truck and bus radial tire using Abaqus software, and the change of tire-pavement contact stress
under different states was simulated by coupling three variables which were tire vertical load, working
condition and cornering angle. Therefore, the changing trend of tire ground contact stress under the coupling
effect of different variables was obtained by analyzing the stress nephograms of tire ground footprints under
different states. This research broke through the limitations of the conventional simulation results under static
or uniform speed conditions, improved the reliability of calculation, and could guide the research works on
tire-pavement contact stress, pavement protection and tire optimization design. |
