Abstract:
The self-made natural rubber (NR)/styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR) vulcanizates with different dosage ratios were quenched and pulverized to obtain rubber powder, which was used to modify the asphalt. The effects of the rubber powder contents on the softening point,5 ℃ ductility, viscosity and 25 ℃ elastic recovery rate of the modified asphalt were studied, and the effect of the rubber powder composition on the softening point of the modified asphalt was explored using grey entropy analysis. The results showed that, with the increase of the rubber powder content, the softening point,5 ℃ ductility and 25 ℃ elastic recovery rate of the modified asphalt increased, while the viscosity decreased. When the NR/SBR dosage ratio was 0/100 and the rubber powder content was 22%,the softening point of the modified asphalt was 99.5 ℃,the ductility at 5 ℃ was 62.5 cm,the viscosity at 160 ℃ was 4.1 Pa·s,and elastic recovery rate at 25 ℃ was 0.85.The rubber hydrocarbon content of the rubber powder had the greatest influence on the softening point of the rubber powder modified asphalt, followed by the carbon black content of the rubber powder.
