Abstract: |
For the silica-filled compounds,high temperature(100 ℃) and traditional low temperature
(50 ℃) mixing methods were used at the final-stage mixing of wet mixing process and dry mixing process,
respectively,in an mixer,and the influence of final-stage mixing temperature on the properties of the
compound was studied. The results showed that,compared with the low temperature final mixing,the
high temperature final mixing would lower the Mooney viscosity of the compound, reduce mixing energy
consumption,slightly prolong thet10 and t90 of the compound,increase the Shore A hardness,tensile stress at
100% elongation and tensile stress at 300% elongation of the vulcanizate,and reduce the tensile strength and
elongation at break. |
