Abstract:
      The effects of the screw groove depth(H),screw lead(S) and screw edge width(e) of the feeding section in the single screw extruder for preparing reclaimed rubber on the material conveying efficiency were analyzed by using finite element analysis software Fluent. Through orthogonal test and single factor test,the HS and e of the feeding section were optimized to 27 mm,170 mm and 9. 0 mm,respectively. The optimized single screw extruder could speed up the material flow of the feeding section and improve the conveying efficiency. The research results could be used to guide the design of the feeding section of single screw extruder for preparing reclaimed rubber.
