Abstract:Polydopamine-modified graphene(PDA-rGO) was obtained by modifying graphene oxide
(GO) with dopamine(DA). The PDA-rGO/bromobutyl rubber(BIIR) composites were prepared by
solution blending method, and the effect of the amount of PDA-rGO on the properties of the composites was
studied. The results showed that the modification of DA inhibited the stacking and agglomeration of GO in
the BIIR matrix and enhanced the interfacial interaction between GO and BIIR matrix. Compared with the
BIIR compound, the crosslinking density of the PDA-rGO(0. 5 phr)/BIIR composites increased by 58%,
the swelling index of toluene decreased by 14%,the tensile strength increased by 40%,and its comprehensive
performance was the best. In addition,at the frequency of 1 kHz,the relative permittivity of the PDA-rGO
(0. 5 phr)/BIIR composites increased by 26%,and the capacitance responsivity to methanol and butanone
increased significantly,reaching 10. 7 and 79. 4,respectively. The PDA-rGO/BIIR composites were expected
to be used for the identification of some organic solvents. |
