Abstract: |
RPA2000 rubber processing analyzer was used to test the change of the elastic modulus of
the silica-filled rubber compound,and the silanization reaction and the filler aggregation in the process were
studied. The results showed that a certain amount of the chemical bonds of the silica-silane coupling agentrubber
were formed in the silica-filled rubber compound,which restrained the aggregation of the silica in
the vulcanization process. It was found that higher vulcanization temperature was beneficial to reduce the
aggregation of the silica,but the loss factor(tan>δ) of the silica compound still increased due to the decrease
of the cross-linking density. The shear action of the mill not only reduced the Mooney viscosity of the silica
compound,but also damaged the cross-linking structure of the silica-silane coupling agent-rubber,which
intensified the aggregation of the silica and caused a significant increase of the tanδ of the silica compound |
