Abstract: |
The effect of vulcanization conditions and compound vulcanization systems on the strength of polyester cord for rubber product was studied. The results showed that, under vulcanization temperature of 150 or 160 ℃ and vulcanization time of 1 to 3 h,the dry heat vulcanization conditions had basically no effect on the strength of the polyester cord. Under the damp heat vulcanization condition, the polyester fiber was hydrolyzed to a certain extent, resulting in a decrease in the strength of the polyester cord, and the higher the temperature and the longer the time were, the greater the decrease in strength was,but the overall change was not large. Moreover, under the damp heat vulcanization condition, the peroxide vulcanization system of the compound had little effect on the strength of the polyester cord, the sulfur vulcanization system of the compound had a significant adverse effect, and the sulfur vulcanization system with dithiocarbamate accelerators which had higher activity had a more serious impact than that with thiuram accelerators. |
