Abstract: |
Pyrolysis carbon black(CBp) was modified by grinding and coupling agent vinyl triethoxysilane(VTEO),and the effects of grinding modified CBp and VTEO modified CBp on the properties of SBR compound were studied. The results showed that, with the increase of grinding time, the particle size of CBp decreased, and the interaction between CBp and rubber macromolecular chain was enhanced. The Mooney viscosity and Fmax-Fsub>L of grinding modified CBp reinforced SBR compound increased, and the physical properties of vulcanizates were improved. The t10 of VTEO modified CBp reinforced SBR compound was prolonged, which meaned the processing safety was improved. When 1 phr VTEO was used to modify 50 phr CBp,the tensile strength of vulcanizate increased by 1.6 MPa. |
