Abstract:
The modified kaolin nanotubes were prepared by using isopropyl trioleic acid acyloxy titanate(coupling agent HY-105),and natural rubber(NR)/chloroprene rubber(CR)/chlorinated butadiene rubber(CIIR) blends were reinforced by the modified kaolin nanotubes. The effect of the modified kaolin nanotubes on the properties of the blends was studied. The results showed that, compared with the blends reinforced with unmodified kaolin nanotubes, the storage modulus(G′) of the blends reinforced with modified kaolin nanotubes increased, the ΔG′ decreased, the Payne effect was weakened, the dispersion of filler was improved, and the F maxF L and physical properties of the blends were significantly improved. With the increase of the amount of modified kaolin nanotubes, the t 10 and t 90 of the blends were extended, the processing safety was improved, the F LF max and F maxF L increased, while the tensile strength, elongation at break and tear strength increased first and then decreased. When the amount of the modified kaolin nanotubes was 10 phr,the physical properties of the blends were the best.
