Abstract: |
Using Abaqus software, based on the actual stress and temperature load during the building process of 257/65R17 tire to establish model, the finite element analysis on the tire stress field and temperature field was carried out,to study the influence of flat width of the tire on its durability. The results
showed that with the increase of flat width of the tire, the average stress and average temperature of the bead and shoulder first decreased and then increased. When the flat width was 562 mm(carcass elongation at 2. 5%),the average stress of each part of the tire was the smallest and average temperature was the lowest, and the durability was the best. |
