Abstract: |
The synergistic reinforcement effect of potassium titanate whisker(PTW) and carbon nanotubes(CNTs) on fluororubber(FKM) was studied.The results showed that CNTs were easy to agglomerate in FKM matrix and had poor dispersion,while PTW had good dispersion in FKM matrix.When PTW/CNTs were used together,it showed synergistic effect,and the physical properties of the compound were improved significantly.At high temperature of 150 ℃,PTW/CNTs used together showed synergistic effect,and the physical properties of PTW/CNTs compound were better than that of the compound with one filler alone.The compression set of PTW/CNTs compound was larger than that of the compound with PTW alone,but slightly smaller than that of the compound with CNTs alone,indicating that the compression set resistance of PTW/CNTs compound was also slightly improved.The synergistic effect was the best when the PTW/CNTs ratio was 4/4,and the physical properties and compression set resistance of the compound were the best. |
