Abstract:A 3D finite element model of steel wire winding rubber hose was established. Based on the theory of the fatigue crack growth of rubber material, four structural parameters of the winding angle of steel wire, spacing between steel wire layers, number of steel wire layers and diameter of steel wire were selected, and on account of fatigue life of rubber material, the fatigue life and maximum axial displacement of the rubber hose under alternating load were analyzed by orthogoncal test method. The results showed that the spacing between steel wire layers had the greatest influence on the fatigue life of the rubber hose, followed by the winding angle of steel wire, the number of steel wire layers and diameter of steel wire. The number of the steel wire layers had the greatest influence on the maximum axial displacement of the rubber hose, followed by the winding angle of steel wire, spacing between steel wire layers and diameter of steel wire. |
