Abstract: |
Effects of vulcanizing time, vulcanizing temperature and amount of foaming agent AC on the damping and sound absorption performances of butyl rubber foam were investigated. The results showed that, the damping property of the foam cured at 165 ℃×30 min was the best and the sound absorption performance of the foam cured at 160 ℃×50 min was the best. With the addition of foaming agent AC,the damping and sound absorption performances of the foam were improved significantly. When the addition amount of foaming agent AC was small, the damping performance of the foam was good. When it was 6 phr,the sound absorption performance of the foam was good. |
