Abstract: |
The octa(trimethoxysilylethyl) silsesquioxane(OPS) was synthesized by hydrosilation and was applied as heat resistant additive in OPS/vinyl silicone rubber composites. The effect of OPS amount
on the properties of the composites was investigated. The results showed that, the initial decomposition temperature and heat resistance of the composites were significantly improved with vinyl silicone rubber. When the OPS amount was 9 phr,the heat resistance of the composites was better, and the tensile strength and shear strength were high. |
