Abstract: |
Natural latex/organic clay(NRLCNs)nanocomposites were prepared by emulsion polymerization. The effects of NRLCNs"" structure, thickness of samples and clay content on the strain-induced crystallization behavior of composites were investigated. The results showed that,NRLCNs were intercalated structure. When the thickness of samples was the same, the physical properties of NRLCNs with organic clay content of 3 phr were the best. When the amount of organic clay was the same, the physical properties of NRLCNs with smaller thickness of samples were better. With the increase of tensile strength, the modulus of NRLCNs increased gradually. When the critical strain value was reached, the modulus increased rapidly, resulting in the strain-induced crystallization behavior The NRLCNs with smaller sample thickness are prone to the strain-induced crystallization behavior. |
