Abstract: |
This paper mainly studied the modification of CBp by grinding method and its application in styrene butadiene rubber. The particle size distribution and the properties of styrene butadiene rubber of CBp with different treatment time were compared with unmodified CBp and N774. The results show that the grinding method can effectively reduce the particle size of CBp and help to improve its dispersion in rubber. The increase of grinding time would reduce the particle size, raise the surface activity, the Mooney viscosity and the torque difference. The tensile strength, tear strength, 300% elongation strength and hardness of the butadiene rubber reinforced by grinded CBp were increased, and the comprehensive modification effect was good. |
