Abstract:
The effect of carbon black network degree on the mesoscopic structure and dynamic viscoelasticity in filled NR vulcanizate during tensile fatigue was investigated. The results showed that the relationship between carbon black concentration and fatigue life of NR vulcanizate was almost linear. The loss modulus(E″) and loss factor(tanδ) decreased with increase of fatigue degree. The dependence of tanδ on temperature before fatigue was weak when the degree of carbon black network was low,but it was strong when the degree of carbon black network was high, and E″ had a peak value. The carbon black aggregates had a sphere-like arrangement before fatigue and arranged in chains at the plane which was perpendicular to the stretching direction after fatigue.
